Hi! I’m Jenny, I’m 19 and I recently moved to Kilkhampton from Reading, Berkshire. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with children, being an older sister to 3 boys, and love creating a fun, safe, and caring environment for them. I’m patient, responsible, and friendly, with a love for cars, animals and the outdoors. Going for walks, exploring nature, and staying active are a big part of my life. I also enjoy baking and cooking, which can be a great way to keep kids engaged and well-fed! I hold a DBS certificate and am committed to ensuring the children in my care are happy, safe, and well looked after.
My Experience
I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience through my own family. I grew up with three younger brothers, two of whom have special needs, so I’ve learned to be patient, understanding, and adaptable in all kinds of situations. I also spent a lot of time caring for my baby nieces and nephews, helping with everything from feeding and changing to playtime and bedtime routines. These experiences have given me a strong sense of responsibility and confidence when it comes to looking after children of different ages and needs.
My Qualifications
While I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, I do hold a valid DBS certificate and have lots of experience with children of a variety of ages between 6 months all the way to 14 years.
