My Experience
While I’m new to formal babysitting, I bring a strong background in trusted, hands-on care. I’ve regularly house-sat and pet-sat for families, and have cleaned homes to a high standard—experiences that reflect my reliability, attention to detail, and respect for other people’s spaces.
I’m open to learning and fully committed to growing into this role. Before taking on any regular childcare responsibilities, I plan to complete a certified paediatric first aid course to ensure I can respond calmly and effectively in any situation. I would also prepare thoughtful, age-appropriate games, educational activities, and simple, healthy meals—always in consultation with parents.
Although I haven’t been a nanny before, I’ve had indirect but meaningful experience with children. My mum is a primary school teacher specialising in special educational needs, and my mother-in-law also works with children with disabilities. I’ve supported both in their work, including caring for a child with Down syndrome and helping out in inclusive classroom environments.
