About Me

I am a qualified children’s nurse looking for some part time nanny work whilst I search for a permanent paediatric nurse post.

Although I do not have formal babysitting experience, my nursing training has given me extensive experience working with children of different ages, supporting their health, wellbeing, and development. I am confident in creating safe, nurturing environments and responding calmly to any challenges that may arise.

I would describe myself as caring, reliable, and attentive to detail. I genuinely enjoy working with children, supporting their growth, and encouraging their creativity and independence.
I have cared for children with complex health needs and have excellent communication skills when communicating with children of varying abilities.

My Experience

I have had three years of experience caring for children within hospital and community settings as a student nurse and a healthcare support worker. I do not have direct experience as a nanny however I have transferable skills from my nurse role and I have an interest in child support and development. I am good at cooking and preparing food and keen to help out with household tasks.

I am a PVG scheme member licensed to work with adults and children and I have a driving license.
