My Requirements

We are looking for long-ish term support near Didcot from September. Our little boy (3 in September) may move nursery to our village which only does hours 0905-1505 and therefore we are looking for someone to provide childcare between 1500-1800/1900 Mon - Thu. We occasionally work from home but also sometimes work in office which means getting home by 1900. The nursery will be 5 mins walk from our house.

We will need whichever wonderful person this is, to cook and give tea. And to prepare a packed lunch for the following day. In addition, we may ask for the odd bit of babysitting once our boy has built up a relationship and feels comfortable with someone else doing bedtime.

It may be that our neighbours with same aged boy(s) do shared tea time if you are happy to juggle 3 boys at once, but this is not a necessity.

Come January we hope to have a newborn too. So this role will morph... and whilst likely do same type of hours for continuity, I will be on maternity leave so will be in the house and may ask for help with the bedtime juggle as we all adapt to a new family addition.

We have a very friendly and kind little spaniel, so we would need someone who doesn't mind (preferably loves) dogs. (Maybe even consider walking him to the village park 10mins away, whilst I look after kid/s or as a shared activity... but this is absolutely not a compulsory part of the job!)

If extra hours are needed, we can discuss this as there is potential for some cleaning or some laundry that could be done whilst our boy is in nursery.

This may be term time only, but will discuss the detail of this on a call.
