Hello! My name is Rosie, I'm 22 years old and living in the Tunbridge Wells area. I graduated from university last year with a degree in English Literature and returned home from travelling South East Asia recently. I like to read, practice yoga and I love to be outdoors- especially by the sea. As a social and active person I've always really enjoyed working with children and feel rewarded in getting to know them and providing creative and fun care. I am reliable, respectful, like to be organised and have a strong sense of responsibility.
My Experience
Over the past few years I have worked with many families providing daytime childcare and evening babysitting as well as some roles providing house sitting and pet sitting whilst families were away. I have also had a great job as a team leader at a summer camp in which I planned and led fun activities for a group of children in my care for the weeks they were at the camp.
As a nanny and a babysitter my responsibilities have included cooking for children, putting them to bed as well as helping with homework and supervising play. I have a full UK driving licence and have experience in collecting children from school and taking them to after school activities as well.
I have experience looking after children in ages ranging from toddlers to pre teens. I understand the importance of tailoring my care to their individual needs, interests and personalities and approach my roles with this in mind. I always want to make sure that the children in my care are happy, feel heard and are following their usual routines whilst I am there.
