Hi! My name is Carys, I am 27 years old and I’m in the middle of pursuing my childcare career. I’ve nearly finished studying my second year of my BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree, and I’m currently working in a nursery.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery for the past 6 months and love it! However, it is getting difficult to travel to as it’s pretty far from where I live. I’m looking for something a bit more personal than a nursery, therefore looking for a nannying position/childminding jobs. During my studies, I’m gaining strong knowledge of child development and early learning. I am passionate about using this understanding to support children’s individual needs and encourage their development. I particularly enjoy using this knowledge to create fun, engaging activities to support children and help them build confidence as they learn through their play!
My Qualifications
Enhanced DBS issued June 2025
Level 4 in Early Childhood Education.
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday, early mornings and late nights dependant on routine.
