My Experience

With a professional background in both nursing and teaching, I bring a unique blend of skills to babysitting that prioritise children’s safety, development, and emotional well-being. My experience working on a neonatal ward gave me hands-on practice in caring for newborns and supporting families during the earliest and often most vulnerable stages of a child’s life. I am confident in feeding, soothing, changing, and monitoring babies, and understand the importance of calm, responsive care. As a qualified primary teacher, I also have a strong understanding of child development across all early childhood stages. I know how to engage children in age-appropriate play, support routines, and manage behaviour gently but effectively. Across both professions, I have built strong communication skills, a responsible and nurturing approach, and a deep commitment to creating safe, positive environments where children can thrive. Babysitting allows me to bring together my practical care experience and educational insight to offer high-quality, thoughtful childcare.

My Qualifications

- 11 GCSEs (A*-B)
- 3 A- levels (A*,A, B)
- Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies from my children's nursing course.
- A postgraduate certificate of education at level 7.
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)

My Availability

I am currently flexible with availability since finishing my PGCE course.
