About Me
I'm Sophie, I am 24 years old and grew up in the Suffolk countryside in the East of England with my parents, brother, sister and dog Finley. I moved to London for University 5 years ago where I achieved a first class degree in mathematics.
Since graduating in July I have been living and working in Australia and now that I've returned home I'm keen to continue working with children.
I have previous experience in a nursery and nannying with a local London family during my Third year at uni, who I will be supporting again from Tuesday-Thursday starting in July for the school holidays. Until then I am ideally looking for a full time London live-in nanny job and thereafter will be free for nannying on Mondays and Fridays when I am not looking after the other girls.
I have a kind and caring nature and always find myself coming back to childcare roles as I find them so fulfilling and enjoyable!
I also have tutoring experience so am more than happy to help with homework wherever needed!

• Brittain Family Nanny: September 2024 – December 2024: Provided childcare for 2 children ages 8 months and 3 years, created and followed daily routines, including meal preparation, nap schedules and school pick-ups/drop-offs.
• Busy Bees Nursery Stowmarket: February 2022 - June 2022: Guiding and supporting young children in their early years of education.
• GCSE Maths Tutor: September 2018 - May 2019: Individual tuition to Year 11 GCSE maths students in free time.
• Mellis Primary School: January 2022: Assisted teachers with classroom activities and worked one to one with students needing extra support.
• Childcare volunteering in Indonesia: February 2022: Travelled solo to Indonesia to help overwhelmed staff in childcare centres.
