My Experience
I have over seven years of experience as a qualified primary school teacher, working across a range of year groups and supporting children with diverse learning needs. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective strategies to engage young learners. I’ve helped students grow not only academically, but also in confidence and independence. My classroom experience has equipped me with the skills to tailor lessons to individual needs, making learning both accessible and enjoyable for every child.
My Qualifications
I hold a qualified teacher status (QTS) through a PGCE degree and a degree in Education Studies, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in child development, curriculum planning and effective teaching strategies. My training covered all core subjects in the primary curriculum and I’ve continued to build on that knowledge throughout my seven years in the classroom. I’m experienced in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and I stay up to date with current educational practices to ensure my teaching remains engaging and effective.
My Availability
I currently have full availability for the next five weeks, which means I’m flexible and able to offer sessions at times that best suit you. Whether you’re looking for regular lessons or occasional support, I’m happy to work around your schedule to provide consistent, reliable tutoring during this period. Once I am back to teaching full time in September, I will be available evenings and weekends only.

My tutoring rate is £25 per hour. This includes tailored lesson planning, resources and regular progress updates. I offer flexible scheduling and can provide sessions either online or in person, depending on your preference.
