Key Requirements:
• DBS checked and First Aid certified (essential)
• Experience with under-2s and early attachment care
• Ability to follow clear written instructions for daily rhythm (naps, food, comfort techniques)
• Respect for cleanliness and hygiene standards (e.g. sterilising, lint-free drying, clean surfaces)
• Comfortable working alongside or under the guidance of a parent or grandparent in the home
• Available for short-term or ad hoc support during the birth and immediate postpartum window
Desirable Qualities:
• Emotionally mature, patient, and naturally attuned to children’s needs
• Understands the importance of energetic and environmental safety (not just physical safety)
• Able to arrive on time, be present, and handle changes calmly
• Kind, discreet, and capable of being a supportive presence, not a disruption.
