About Me
I am a 50 year old mum of two,my children are now 23 and 16.I am passionate about children and animals.Due to two major operations I have not worked for a couple of years but am now keen to undertake a part time position that I will thoroughly enjoy where I will be able to use all the skills and knowledge previously attained throughout my working life pre-operations.I am very friendly,honest,trustworthy and reliable.I always put 100% into whatever I do and pride myself on my impeccable manners and ability to get on with people of all ages.
My Experience
Most of my working life has been within the care industry,working with adults and children with learning disabilities and mental health and undertaking more senior roles.After my youngest child was born I transferred my skill set and knowledge and went to work in Education as a teaching assistant and also on a 1:1 basis with children who were not accessing mainstream education for whatever reason,with a view to rebuilding their confidence and giving them the tools to cope on their return to school when they were ready .
My Qualifications
Have held several enhanced DBS but due to not working for a couple years they have expired.
Level 3 first aid -now expired
Also previously a member of St John Ambulance for 6 years.
