About Me
I am looking to support a family where babysitting duties are required when I am available from my role as a senior support worker in a children’s residential home , this may include school runs, after school activities, I can cover weekends and over night stays when I am not on shift . I a mother of four grown up children and I have 4 grandchildren. We are an extremely close family and one of my key values is quality time with my family. I have a keen interest in visiting new places and trying new experiences. I form good relationships with those around me and often seen as a reliable source of support to family and friends. I am 51 years old with a love of life, Still physically fit and of good nature.
My Experience
I am currently a senior Residential support worker . I have worked in this capacity for the last two years.
My role includes
School runs
Ensuring the young people attend all Medical appointments
Ensuring the young people have access and opportunities to attend activities and new experiences
Running the home including , cleaning , cooking and shopping.
Completing safety checks to ensure the home is a safe environment
Complete first aid training
Administer medication
Supporting young people to be good citizens.
Currently work 14 hour day shifts and cover sleeps 2/3 times a week.
Educate young people in staying safe , resilience, self care and good social interactions.
Work alongside education providers, Clinical psychologist and social workers working to promote the best outcomes for our young people.
Work with a range of young people of various ages , abilities , additional and complex needs,
Taking your people on holiday in the UK and abroad
Facilitate family contact in a safe and secure environment
Support with school work

My Qualifications
Level 4 Family practitioner
Healing trauma in residential care
Road safety training for local authority
Pool side assistant training
Life coach qualification
CIH Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Homeless People
CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice
My Availability
I currently work 40 hours per week over 3 or 4 days and do 2/3 sleeps per week. I’m available when not on shift so please messsge me about individual dates that you need.

- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
