About Me
Hi, I'm Karen. I live near Melton Mowbray, married with 2 grown-up kids. I'm in my early 50's. I have always owned a design business but several years ago trained in Mindfulness, and in recent months have been a teaching assistant part-time, the odd day here and there at primary schools, working with SEN children. I love it. I only have a few design clients I plan to keep, and I hope to spend the rest of time working with children or the elderly. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and personal liability insurance. I love children, I'm very calm and caring, practical, confident and love the outdoors. I think my own kids would say my skill in life is being a mum. I have a lot to offer a family who are looking for support.
My Experience
A mother to an 18 and 23yr old. I was a nanny in my 20's and still in contact with the children I cared for. Working in local primary schools with main stream and SEN children. Mindfulness and mental health training. About to start a course in Autism.

My days and hours are very flexible. I've had my design clients a long time so I can work part-time around it.
