Hi, we’re Lucy and Tim – a friendly, sociable couple with two much-loved pugs, Baxter and Edie. We’re expecting our first baby in February 2026 and are beginning our search for a local childminder as we prepare to step into the exciting world of parenthood. With busy working lives, we’re looking for someone warm, reliable, and experienced to help support our growing family. We’d love to connect with someone who shares our values and can provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for our little one.
My Requirements
We’re currently exploring childcare options ahead of our baby’s arrival. While we're still finalising our long-term work schedules, we know we’ll be looking for childcare support between 3 to 5 days a week, ideally within standard working hours. I may return to work full-time, but there is still some flexibility in our plans at this stage.
We're looking for a warm, dependable childminder who can offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for our little one as they grow. A local setting with a small group of children would be ideal, and we’d love to find someone who values play, development, and gentle routines. We'd also appreciate someone comfortable with dogs, as Baxter and Edie are very much part of the family.
