About Me
We are a warm and friendly family of three living in Bethnal Green (E2), close to Victoria Park. Our family consists of myself, my husband João, and our baby son, who will be turning one year old at the end of January. I am currently on maternity leave and will be returning to part-time work from home on 26 January 2026.
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and playful nanny/babysitter/mother’s helper to join our family on a part-time basis. We value someone who enjoys spending quality time with children, engaging them in play, supporting their development, and who is happy to accompany our son on short walks or outings when appropriate. Our family is relocating out of London next year (likely March), so this is a short-term position, but we hope it will be a positive experience for both you and our son.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to care for our one-year-old son for five hours a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, approximately 10am to 3pm. During these hours I will be working from home, so I will be nearby and available for support if needed.
We would like the nanny to:
• Engage in age-appropriate play and activities with our son at home
• Change nappies and settle him for naps
• Serve meals, snacks, and milk that we will provide
• Take him for short walks in Victoria Park, play on swings or visit nearby indoor play areas like the Young V&A if comfortable
We hope the role can start with a few hours a week in January so our son can get used to being with you before my work begins full-time. This role is ideal for someone looking for short-term work with a friendly, relaxed, and supportive family.
