About Me
Hello! My name is Jalica, and I’m a caring, reliable, and experienced childminder based in Grays, Essex. I’m a proud mum and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun home-from-home environment where children can thrive, learn, and feel loved.
I’m fully registered with Ofsted, trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support each child’s development through play-based learning.
At my setting, I provide:
A warm, stimulating space with age-appropriate resources
Outdoor play and nature walks in a secure garden
Daily routines that include story time, messy play, singing, and early learning activities
Nutritious home-cooked meals and snacks (optional)
A strong focus on communication, independence, and kindness
I work in close partnership with parents to ensure your child’s needs, routines, and milestones are always supported and celebrated.

My Experience
Although I’m newly registered, I bring with me valuable hands-on experience as a parent and a strong understanding of child development through my EYFS training, safeguarding, and paediatric first aid qualifications. I’ve also prepared my setting with age-appropriate resources, a secure outdoor play space, and planned engaging activities that support learning through play.

My Availability
I currently offer flexible childcare from my home setting in Grays. I’m available Monday to Friday, with care offered during the daytime and after school, except for Wednesday and Thursday mornings, when I am unavailable. I offer both part-time and full-time spaces for children aged 10 months to 12 years, and I’m happy to discuss wraparound care or occasional sessions depending on your family’s needs. My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My current fee is £7 per hour, which includes:
Healthy home-cooked meals (breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner depending on the session)
Nutritious snacks and drinks throughout the day
All planned activities, including arts & crafts, sensory play, and EYFS-based learning
Access to toys, books, and outdoor play.
