Blanche
Nanny in London (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Blanche Bosman. I’m an experienced childcare professional with a background in nursery work and as a Room Leader in an after-school club, and I now work as a nanny supporting young children in their day-to-day development.
I enjoy creating a calm and engaging environment where children can explore the world around them through play, creativity, and everyday experiences. I organise weekly outings such as parks, playgroups, and museums, and I plan simple activities that encourage language development, curiosity, and independence. I particularly enjoy following a child’s interests and turning them into meaningful moments of learning and discovery.
Alongside play and outings, I support the practical rhythm of the day by preparing meals and snacks, being attentive to allergies and dietary requirements, and encouraging children to take part in small everyday tasks so they can build confidence and independence.
I also love documenting our shared experiences in a scrapbook-style memory book, capturing the little moments, creations, and adventures that make early childhood so special.
I have experience supporting children with additional needs and always aim to create a nurturing, respectful environment where each child feels safe, understood, and valued. As a mum myself, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident that their child is cared for with warmth, attentiveness, and reliability.
Outside of childcare, I run a small baking business, which reflects my love of creativity and making things by hand, something I enjoy sharing with children through simple cooking or creative activities.
My Experience
With three years of experience in a nursery and as a Room Leader for an after-school club, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting both younger and older children in their growth and development. I currently work as a nanny caring for a two-and-a-half-year-old, where I plan engaging weekly activities, outings, and a gentle daily rhythm that supports curiosity, confidence, and independence.
I enjoy creating meaningful experiences for children, whether that’s through imaginative play, sensory activities, trips to museums or playgroups, or time spent outdoors. I follow routines that help children feel secure while still allowing plenty of space for exploration and creativity. One of my favourite parts of the job is seeing a child’s face light up when they achieve something they once thought was impossible.
As a nanny I also support the practical side of family life: preparing meals and snacks, being mindful of allergies and dietary requirements, and helping children take part in everyday activities like cooking or tidying. I also enjoy creating a scrapbook-style memory book to capture moments from our days together, creating a lasting record of the child’s experiences and milestones.
I have experience working with children with additional needs and always aim to create a calm, supportive environment where each child feels understood and able to grow at their own pace. I’m passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, and about making a positive impact during these important early years.
My Qualifications
In addition to my hands-on experience, I have completed several online training courses to further enhance my knowledge and skills in childcare. These include training in Children with Anxiety, which has equipped me with strategies to support children experiencing anxiety; Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, ensuring I can effectively protect and care for children in my care; and Level 2 Food Hygiene and Food Allergens, which allow me to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, especially those with dietary needs.
I have an enhanced DBS.
