My Experience

Since the age of 18yrs I have worked with children in a variety of settings.

I completed a course City & Guilds in Caring , this involved learning and working in a nursery. This helped be build in my knowledge of children’s development and activities to support .

I then worked on a school supporting a child with SEN needs .

While studying to get into nurse training , I childminded in afternoons/ early evening for a family for 3 years .
This involved helping out with all the children’s needs - taking them to after school activities, helping with homework, preparing dinner etc .

I have been a qualified nurse (specialising in CAMHS ) for over 20yrs and this has lead me to have a wealth of experience on working with children and young people .

I am hoping to further my skills on play therapy .

I am hard working , reliable and confident in engaging children of all age groups.
I am confident in looking after and supporting children with added physical health and neurodivergent needs .

I am up to date in my first aid training have an enhanced DBS ( renewed in June 2025) .

City & Guilds in Caring skills
Access course to health & paramedical studies .
Diploma in mental health nursing
Diploma in psychosocial interventions
Up to date ABLS ( advanced basic life support training).

My Availability

I am available at weekends and most evenings — evenings will be dependent on transportation and time i can get there after work .

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

£12-£15 per hour ( his can be negotiated)
