Hello! My name is Yasmin, and I’m a caring, reliable, and experienced childminder who is passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. I’m fully qualified, first-aid trained, and committed to supporting children’s emotional, social, and educational development. I work closely with parents to ensure consistency and open communication, so you can feel reassured that your little one is happy and well cared for.
For me, childminding isn’t just a job — it’s a privilege to be part of a child’s early years journey and to watch them flourish.
My Experience
I’ve been around little ones since a young age, helping with family and friends’ children, and I’m now a proud parent to three of my own. This first-hand experience has given me a deep understanding of children’s needs, personalities, and stages of development — as well as the patience, flexibility, and sense of humour that come with it!
As a childminder, I create a safe, homely, and welcoming environment where every child is treated with kindness, respect, and encouragement. I believe in learning through play, exploring the outdoors, and giving children plenty of opportunities to discover their interests and grow in confidence.
I work closely with parents to make sure each child feels secure and supported, building routines that work for both home and childcare. For me, looking after children isn’t just a role — it’s something I truly love and feel privileged to do every day.
My Qualifications
I hold an enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind and am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, ensuring I can respond quickly and calmly in any situation. I have also completed qualifications in Safeguarding and in Managing Challenging Behaviour, giving me the skills to support children’s well-being, safety, and emotional needs in a positive and professional way.
