About Me
Hi there, my name is Nicola Beaton but everyone calls me Nic!
At the moment, I provide care for preschool-aged children only.
I am a parent of three children and we have two friendly pets: a springer spaniel named Tommy and a cat named Lily. My services are conducted from our residence at West Fortune Farm, just between Haddington and North Berwick, which provides plenty of outdoor space for fun and adventurous activities. I am a member of the PVG scheme, have completed a course in Child Protection, and hold a certificate in paediatric first aid.
My Experience
I have two years of experience in caregiving and I have 3 children - my oldest being 14.
My Qualifications
I’m a registered childminder and hold an official Childminding Registration Certificate. I have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and have also completed a Child Protection course through SCMA, so you can feel confident your little ones are safe and well cared for. I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive. I also make sure to keep developing my skills, so I can always offer the best care possible.
My Availability
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm; Friday mornings by arrangement. I can be flexible with these timings.
