About Me
I have over twelve years experience as a nanny. I now work as a freelance illustrator and I'm looking for part time childcare work as a complement to this occupation. I enjoy the company of children and nurturing their curiosity and creativity. I live north of Alnwick, Northumberland.
My Experience
I was a nanny in London three days a week for twelve years between 1993 and 2005. Caring for three children initially two and four years old and newborn through to their teens. I also cared for cousins and family friends over those 12 years. I have remained very close to the family. I have also been an au pair in Helsinki, Copenhagen and Paris. About ten years ago I regularly collected a three year old from nursery and cared for him until his parents returned from work.
My Qualifications
Degree in Illustration, Post Grad Diploma in 20th Century History of Art and Design. Certificate in Facilitating Workshops. In 2018 I took a half day workshop in First Aid for young children and Babies. Queens Guide Award. I drive.
My Availability
I'm available part time. I can be flexible but I'm looking for a maximum of two or possibly three days a week. I'm happy to get a DBS check and I can provide references.
