About Me
I am a creative, empathetic, and kind person who is reliable and down to earth. I have just completed my training as an Art Psychotherapist and am looking for an afterschool nanny role over the next months, with the opportunity of doing extra hours over the summer. I offer an informed and reflective approach to childcare and development as well always supporting children’s creative and imaginative minds.
My Experience
Currently work as an SEN Playworker 1:1 with neurodivergent children with additional needs. Previously worked for four families as a nanny with a range of family sizes. I have worked with children on and off for over 10 years, working as a nanny for 3 separate families as well as working with many more in a babysitting capacity. I have worked with children aged 3 to 16 and also have experience working with neurodiverse children and adults. My experience working with SEN children has been incredibly rewarding and enabled me to expand my own communication skills, working with non-verbal children and extending my creativity to means of communicating and engaging with a variety of children. I have experiencing working as an art psychotherapist with both children and adults, working within a psychodynamic framework in both individual and group sessions.
My Qualifications
DBS. Just finished my MA in Art Psychotherapy. Working with children and adults. Special needs experience.
My Availability
Monday to Friday afterschool (school pick-up to bedtime)
Saturdays and Sundays plus babysitting ad hoc
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
