About Me
I am a registered A&E nurse living in Kettering but having to leave my job due to being unable to find childcare to work with my shifts.
I have an 11 month old son, Jacob. Very much a surprise as I have always been told I could not have children, hence unfortunately I am a single parent.
Jacob is haemophiliac (moderate). Whilst he is so little, it doesn't affect him at all. However, as he gets bigger and more mobile, it does mean he will need a little extra care to avoid injuries although I am acutely aware that this is almost impossible with toddlers! We have access to a Haemophilia Nurse who is really helpful and more than happy to speak with care providers any time to provide reassurance and advice. I want Jacob to live a normal life and not to be wrapped in cotton wool. But someone with some common sense on what is just a bump compared to what could potentially cause a bleed is a must.
My Requirements
Looking for someone flexible who could take Jacob 2 x afternoons per week preferably until 7pm to enable me to attend some of my old gym classes. Until I am back working, and then I’ll increase to probably 4 full days per week.
Until I’m back working, I’ll be paying for Jacob’s childcare privately, but when I’m back at work, I’ll be using the 22hrs free childcare and then topping up.
