Registered Childminder Job in Kettering
About Me
I am a registered nurse living in Kettering. I am looking to start a new role ASAP where I will be working 3 x 12.5hr shifts (7am-7:30pm) in Kettering or Northampton. I unfortunately had to leave my previous A&E role in Bedford due to the shifts and being unable to find childcare to also cover the commuting time.
I have an 16 month old son, Jacob. I am a single parent, which makes things very difficult childcare wise, but I am desperate to get back to work now after being off since February 2025.
Jacob is haemophiliac (mild type A). Whilst he is so little, it doesn't affect him at all. However, as he gets bigger and more mobile, it does mean he will need a little extra care to avoid injuries although I am acutely aware that this is almost impossible with toddlers! We have access to a Haemophilia Nurse who is really helpful and more than happy to speak with care providers any time to provide reassurance and advice. I want Jacob to live a normal life and not to be wrapped in cotton wool. But someone with some common sense on what is just a bump compared to what could potentially cause a bleed is a must.
My Requirements
Looking for someone flexible who could take Jacob 3 x per week from around 6:30/6:45am - 7:30/7:45pm depending on where I am working.
I’ll be using the 22hrs free childcare and then topping up.
