About Me
I am a registered A&E nurse living in Kettering but working at Bedford Hospital, looking to get back to work very soon. I have a 4.5month old son, Jacob. Very much a surprise as I have always been told I could not have children, hence unfortunately I am a single parent.
Jacob is haemophiliac (moderate). Whilst he is so little, it doesn't affect him at all. However, as he gets bigger and more mobile, it does mean he will need a little extra care to avoid injuries although I am acutely aware that this is almost impossible with toddlers! We have access to a Haemophilia Nurse who is really helpful and more than happy to speak with care providers any time to provide reassurance and advice. I want Jacob to live a normal life and not to be wrapped in cotton wool.
My Requirements
Looking for someone flexible who could take Jacob from approx 5.50am-9.30pm at least twice per week whilst I am at work as my shifts are 7am-8.30pm in Bedford. I am aware that this is going to be difficult to find someone with that availability!
As a single mum, I'll be applying for help with paying for childcare so needs to be registered and able to take the free hours early next year when he is eligible at 9 months but will be looking to start paying privately from October 2025. My shifts are allocated approx 4 weeks in advance so am able to give notice. Although I am going to attempt to arrange to have set days, but this could be rejected.
