About Me

I'm Maya! A teacher from Australia. I’m a responsible, friendly, and caring person who enjoys working with children and creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for them. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and adaptable to each family’s needs. I’m also creative and love planning activities that help kids learn and grow while having fun. I have years of experience working one-on-one with children and also nannying experience.

My Experience

I have diverse experience working with children in both educational and home settings. I worked as a nanny for two months, caring for a 12-year-old boy, supporting with housekeeping duties, and looking after family pets. As a registered teacher, I delivered small-group interventions for students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties, focusing on building strong relationships to encourage engagement and progress. In addition, I have worked in an OSHC holiday program, caring for children aged 3–12, planning activities, supervising play, and ensuring their wellbeing throughout the day.

My Qualifications

I have graduated with a Bachelor of Education. I also have a First Aid Certificate (2025). Years of teaching experience.
