My Requirements
Hi there,
I am arranging childcare on behalf of a young family with two daughters, who will be 4 and 1 years old respectively in June. They are looking for a full-time nanny to from June to end-August, and then part-time (afternoons ~3:30-7:30pm) from September onward once the older one starts school.
We would be looking for someone to:
- Work full-time Monday-Friday from 8am to 6pm, with some days extending until 7:30pm
- Looks after both children, with age-appropriate activities to stimulate development (including taking them to the park, to select classes and play groups, doing at-home activities, etc)
- Prepare healthy meals for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner and snacks
- Support with bathtime in the evenings
- Assist with instilling good manners
- The family does not use screens with their children and do not have a TV
- We would also ask you to do some light household chores (dishwasher, clothes) as well, but it would not be heavy cleaning (there is a cleaner that comes 2x a week)
If possible, we would also be interested to know if you would ever be willing to:
- Do evenings of babysitting, to be agreed by mutual convenience
- On occasion stay over for the night, to be on hand if/when one of us is away and support with morning routine - this is not a deal-breaker if not possible (we would not expect you to be on duty past 7:30pm unless mutually agreed)
Their daughters a happy, kind girls. They are independent and very relaxed. They speak Spanish at home and would appreciate it if you could speak and read to the children in Spanish, but again, not a deal-breaker if not.
