My Requirements

We are a family of three looking for a kind, warm and caring babysitter to take care of our 12 month old baby on an ad-hoc basis. We are located very close to the city centre.

This role will involve providing attentive, high quality care for our baby, supporting his needs while I work, including play time, changing nappies, putting down for a nap (we are beginning to practice some independent sleep as he was only in contact naps before this) and helping to practice bottle feeding (currently exclusively breastfeeding and not accepting a bottle). We do not follow strict routines, but are more baby-led when it comes to feeding and sleeping.

We would like someone to be engaging with him during his wake windows that supports his development, such as tummy time, reading books, singing songs, walking him around the flat and balcony allowing him to explore and supervising independent play time. We are also looking for someone who is patient and can gently soothe and comfort our baby using safe techniques whether it is because he is fussy or needs to go down for a nap. We would like someone to maintain cleanliness of baby’s areas, including his play mat and toys.

Experience with infants is a must.
