Hi, I’m Maisy, a caring and creative childcare professional. I’m currently completing a placement in a private nursery in Ipswich, where I work with children aged 0 to 4. However i am based in the baby room where the age range is 0-2 , but i am confident working with children of all ages. I’m training for my Level 3 Child Practitioner qualification, which I will fully complete in April 2027. I’m also first-aid trained.
I’m looking to move to London, where I would love to work as a full-time nanny. I genuinely believe that childcare should be more than just supervision; it’s about building strong, trusting relationships and making each day fun, safe, and meaningful for children.
I bring a lot of energy, creativity, and imagination to my work. I enjoy engaging in play, crafts, stories, messy activities, and anything that helps children express themselves and grow in confidence. I’m warm, patient, and a bit different in a good way. I connect easily with children and I’m not afraid to be silly, playful, and fully present with them.
Most importantly, I take my responsibility seriously. I understand routines, boundaries, emotional support, and safeguarding. I always aim to create a calm, happy environment where children feel secure and cared for.

My Experience
I have hands-on experience working with children in a nursery and through regular babysitting. In my current job, I help care for and develop children aged 0 to 4. This includes supporting learning through play, managing routines, assisting with meals, naps, and personal care, and responding to emotional needs. I’ve also babysat for families with children of various ages. This has given me experience in one-on-one care, bedtime routines, and building trust with both children and parents. These roles have made me confident, flexible, and calm in different situations. I take pride in being someone children feel comfortable and safe with.
My Qualifications
I’m currently working towards my Level 3 Childcare qualification and i am fully first-aid trained.
My Availability
Once i have completed my level 3 qualification, i will relocate to London so i will be available to work full time mon-fri. I am happy to work the occasional weekend as well.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
