About Me

I am a married father with three young children. I am a former lawyer, university tutor, and church minister and am currently back in school for further theological education. This gives me time to do some extra work for about one day a week. I enjoy teaching one-on-one and also working with children and young people.

My Experience

I practiced law in the United States for four years, after which I was a university tutor in law for three years. Since then, I have lived in the UK for twelve years, during which time I served in church ministry for nine years. Currently, I am undertaking further theological studies and plan to be back in full-time ministry next year. As such, I now have some flexibility in my schedule to tutor and/or provide child care. I am a father to twin toddlers and an infant, for whom I spend approximately three days a week as the at-home primary caregiver.

My Qualifications

I have the following academic degrees: AB (History and Philosophy), JD, LLM (International Law), LLD (International Law), LLM (Advocacy), and PgDip (Theology). I am DBS checked and have taken annual Safeguarding training for church ministry over the past twelve years.

My Availability

I am available from late September 2025 until summer 2026.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
  • Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

My childcare fee is £20/hour and my tutoring fee is £40/hour, although I am happy to discuss this further and be flexible.
