My favourite thing about working with children is getting to be part of their growth and their feeling of safety. I truly believe every child deserves a nurturing, enriching environment where they can explore, learn, and feel valued. Whether it’s celebrating a new skill, having fun or helping them through a challenge, I love creating moments that support both their development and their happiness.I have experience with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, ranging from the ages of newborn to 12 years old. I am clean, and happy to do additional household chores, including cooking. I have my own car which I am happy to use for the job (days out, pick up/drop off etc). Available ASAP
My Experience
I spent a year on placement working 1:1 with children with profound autism, my week split across two children, so I have practical (and theoretical due to being in my last year of a Psychology degree) experience with children with various neurodevelopmental disorders. I ended up going part time as one of the children no longer needed support and so picked up some nannying alongside my part time hours. I nannied a 15 month old girl for 5 months and when she went to nursery I did school pick up/general babysitting for 7 year old and 10 year old siblings! I also have general childcare experience, having had lots of babies in the family over the course of my life.
My Qualifications
Level 1 ABA therapist, enhanced DBS check, up to date general and paediatric first aid, full (clean) UK driving licence
My Availability
I am at university in Cardiff, but have minimal contact hours this year. My availability is filled in almost 100% accurately, with some variability between weeks (especially Thursdays).
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
My fees have been calculated from additional nannying companies and so I set this as my per hour :)
