About Me
Hi, I’m Annie! I’m a student at Leeds conservatoire, studying popular music with Bass Guitar! I love working with kids of all ages, with experience as a camp counsellor in Canada working with children between 4 and 16. I also worked as a volunteer on charity run trips for teens with moderate learning difficulties, and as a cooking mentor for young adults with MLD. I’m soon to qualify as a swim coach for children, after spending 6 years swimming for local clubs and Liverpool swimming club! I love anything creative, and exciting, prioritising safety. I did my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and passed my GCSEs with grades B-A*, so I am always available to help with any sort of tuition, including music theory and Bass.
My Experience
I’ve always looked after friends and relatives children, from my baby cousins to my family friends son with MLD. I spent most of my early teenage years volunteering with teens and young adults with MLD, and then spent a summer in Canada working with children 4-16 years with around the clock care, the needs of each child varied, giving me experience with children with ODD, autism, down syndrome as well as just being able to look after and appropriately care for all different types of personalities.
My Qualifications
Before going to Canada I had a full DBS check, which I will be getting renewed!
My Availability
I’m available every weekend and most evenings, my daytime availability varies due to my university schedule, but I am always willing to make the time when and where I am needed!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I usually charge between £12-£14 an hour depending on the number of children and duties but I am always willing to discuss this to help suit your needs :)
