About Me
Hi my name is Paris I'm 27 and have a outgoing bubbly personality. I don't have experience as babysitter but have recently decided to begin my journey as a babysitter.
I am interested in becoming a babysitter as I would like to be a mother one day and I think it is essential to understand how to take of a child before having one yourself.
Although I don't have experience as babysitter I have taken care of children before just not consistently enough in order for me to classify it as "experience". However due to working as live-in care worker I am cable of preparing meals, finding age appropriate games and providing companionship if they wake up at night.
My Experience
I do not have experience working as a babysitter however I worked as a live-in care worker for 2 years.
The tasks I encountered were personal care, medication administration, housekeeping, running errands, food preparation & feeding and companionship.
Being a live-in carer meant I was responsible for the clients safety & wellbeing for the duration that I was living in their home for. It was my duty to ensure the clients were washed, feed, and had their medication within a strict timeframe.
Night supervisor is an aspect which is also encounted within the job. If the client wakes up during the night I was responsible for checking on the needs of the client and would provide them with any comfort necessary for them to get back to sleep.
Examples of this are applying a antiseptic cream on area that the client may have pain in, assisting them with a beverage, performing personal care or keeping them company until they fall back asleep.
Although I have not worked with children live-in care has transferable skills that could be beneficial for babysitting.
My Qualifications
I have a 5 GCSE's, a diploma in Performing Arts & a degree in Dance.
My Availability
During the week I am usually available in evening but this can vary. However I am off every sat and sun
