My Experience

I’ve been looking after children for many years, both professionally and within my own family. From November 2016 to February 2020, I worked as a babysitter in London, caring for little ones as young as 8 months right through to teenagers of 14. I planned fun activities, helped with homework, prepared meals, and made sure every child felt safe, happy, and supported.
Outside of work, I’m a very involved auntie and big sister — I regularly look after my younger brother (now 8 years old) and my niece and nephew (ages 3 and 6). This mix of professional and family experience has taught me how to adapt to different ages and personalities, keep things fun and engaging, and handle those unexpected moments with calm and patience.

My Qualifications

Over 7 years of combined professional and family childcare experience
Confident caring for children from infancy to early teens
Completed safeguarding training as part of my university social work practice
Knowledge of child safety practices and basic first aid
Strong organisational skills — able to balance routines, activities, and mealtimes
Patient, calm, and adaptable to each child’s individual needs
Excellent communication with both children and parents
