About Me
We are looking for a caring, experienced childcare provider for our son, Adam, who is 19 months old (15 months corrected age).
Adam was born extremely prematurely at 23+6 weeks and spent several months in NICU. He is now doing incredibly well and is a happy, affectionate, curious little boy who loves exploring, playing and interacting with people.
Due to his early arrival, Adam has chronic lung disease of prematurity, making him more vulnerable to respiratory illnesses, and Erb's palsy affecting his left arm, which means he benefits from some additional support with physical activities. He currently receives the highest rate of Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
We're looking for a warm, nurturing setting with excellent hygiene practices, good communication and experience supporting children with additional or complex medical needs. We'd love to find someone who will get to know Adam as an individual and help him continue to thrive.
My Requirements
We are looking for full-time childcare, Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30am to 6:00pm.
Ideally, Adam would start part time in August before increasing to full time from September, subject to a successful settling-in period.
As I'll be starting a full-time job, reliability and good communication are very important to us. We may also be moving from Northwood to the Radlett or Bushey area in the future, so we'd appreciate some flexibility around notice periods if possible.
