About Me
Hello, my name is grace and i am 17 years old. i have a fun, outgoing, bubbly and caring persona. i have plenty experience with children and babies of all ages. i have grown up surrounded by my younger siblings, and have been helping out with them since the age of 6. i have experience with bath time, dinner time, and play time. i have been looking after my younger siblings most of my life when my parents have been at work etc. whether that be during the daytime and into late hours of the night. i also have looked after neighbours children, or families children plenty of times for years. some may view my age as not being qualified enough, but i believe children may thrive with a younger carer especially with my experience with my siblings.
My Experience
i have worked in a variety of different settings, but have always found that childcare is what i gravitate towards. like i mentioned i have been looking after young children most of my life, and have always thrived doing it. i connect with young children, as i have a highly caring, sensible and fun approach which is what all children need. although im only 17, i have the natural instincts of an adult due to my experiences i have faced in life with looking after my own siblings, and other children. i have worked with children with learning difficulties and mental health needs, since about 15 through volunteering. i love it so much, its my passion in life! :)
My Qualifications
i passed all my GCSES, receiving 6s and above. i studied art, history, health, social and childcare and re. right now i am in collage studying art. i love creativity, and believe art is a way of expression through children of all ages. i love painting, and drawing with my younger siblings anything creative.
My Availability
during the summer time, so as of right now i am usually free during any times of the day. but when i start back at collage in september, i will only be able to do after school, evenings, and potentially nights. i am very flexible :)
