My Experience
I was previously employed as a babysitter for a family, doing school pick ups 3x a week and monthly evening covers. This post has lasted a year, and is sadly coming to an end due to the family moving away. I have a great relationship with the family I support and can provide a reference for this. I’ve always genuinely enjoyed spending time with kids and creating a fun, safe environment for them. I'm excited to bring that same care and energy to babysitting opportunities.
As a nurse I have had experience participating in a health visiting service as one of my placements, and have a great understanding of child development and care. With my experience in studying adult nursing, I can adapt and deal with challenging situations.
My Qualifications
I am a newly qualified nurse working in a surgical ward, with two years experience as an assistant practitioner. I am trained in CPR, extensive first aid, and maternal and infant care in acute settings. This makes me a highly capable and trustworthy babysitter, equipped to ensure children’s safety, respond to emergencies, and provide nurturing, informed care at all times.
My Availability
Availability is dependent on my work rotation which changes monthly. Ad-hoc service is preferable as it is difficult to guarantee certain days off.
