My Experience

I am currently employed as babysitter for a family, doing school pick ups 3x a week and monthly evening covers. This post has lasted a year, and is sadly coming to an end due to the family moving away. I have a great relationship with the family I support and can provide a reference for this. I’ve always genuinely enjoyed spending time with kids and creating a fun, safe environment for them. I'm excited to bring that same care and energy to babysitting opportunities.
As a nurse I have had experience participating in a health visiting service as one of my placements, and have a great understanding of child development and care. My experience extends to children with Autism and with my experience in studying adult nursing can adapt and deal with challenging situations.

My Qualifications

As a fourth-year nursing student at the University of Edinburgh, I am about to qualify as a registered nurse in October. I am trained in CPR, extensive first aid, and maternal and infant care in acute settings. This makes me a highly capable and trustworthy babysitter, equipped to ensure children’s safety, respond to emergencies, and provide nurturing, informed care at all times.

My Availability

Due to classes finishing I have availability all day throughout the summer from 8th July to the 28th July.

I am very flexible and willing to accommodate evening and morning cover.
