About Me
I am a married Mother of 2 autistic young sons, 13 & 11. I am self-employed and very busy with work but take long spells out of work to prepare healthy gluten and dairy free, fresh meals for my sons as well as ensure they get regular 1:1 input from me for their education and learning. I also spend a significant amount of time doing wellbeing exercises both physical like yoga and brain training such as reading and learning about their emotions and growth to help them understand the phases their go through, anxieties and other childhood concerns so that they can build emotional resilience and thrive in a loving, encouraging, structured yet flexibly home setting. I need support for my sons after school and during school holidays so that I can keep on top of their independent learning, physical activities and education while I work and carry out my home duties as well.
My Requirements
We are a family of 4 and my eldest son is Autistic. Has been to mainstream nursery and primary school and now in a Special Needs High School. His name is Adam and he is very bright but has a language delay and expressive language disability. He does stim and needs regular activities to help him stay regulated eg. Basketball, learning to play rackets sports which he likes such as badminton, tennis and he also likes Cricket. Adam also needs help to practice his spelling and typing skills as well as OT and writing programme during after school hours and school holidays. He is extremely funny and and well natured young man at 13 years of age.
