About Me
Hi! Fully bilingual English/French. I'm a kind, nurturing and reliable 48 year old woman, eager to help when your hands are busy. Very organised and young at heart, not taking myself seriously whilst very dependable and trustworthy. I can just as well provide babysitting as tutoring, as have excellent academic proficiency. I am a trained Coach, so dedicated to active listening, empathy, non-judgemental guidance and stimulating aptitudes and skills. It's one of the reasons why I previously volunteered with the Kids Network, to help under-privileged kids expand their horizons and build their confidence.
I bring fun and creativity, I enjoy inspiring the best version out of kids to come to the surface, and genuinely want to help them do great personnally or academically. I love Art in all its expressions, am part of an oil-painting studio and keen on classical music (can help with these too). Physically very active, I have been following japanese martial arts for many years.
My Experience
I've done babysitting since a young age as always enjoyed helping with kids from diverse backgrounds. No kids of my own, but very close to my friends' kids and own nephew and niece whom I yearly take on for several weeks, so used to managing kids single-handidly for a long stretch of time.
Professionnally, I've held management positions for 20+ years, have a strong academic background (LLB in Business law + MBA). I value performance and have coached my teams to grow and out-perform their objectives. I enjoy sharing knowledge and breaking it down in an easy way for others to digest, so much so that my managers have encouraged me to look into teaching in Universities, which I have done on occasion.
As I recently have extra time, expanding on childcaring feels a natural thing and something I always enjoy hugely.

Patricia looked after my 9- and 12-year-old children for two weeks, and her impact was outstanding. Patient, engaging, and highly skilled in teaching, she built a genuine connection with them while significantly improving their understanding of expressions, spelling, and grammar.
She has a natural ability to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I would confidently recommend Patricia as a tutor for children of all ages.
