About Me
Hi! Fully bilingual English/French. I'm a kind, nurturing and reliable 48 year old woman, eager to help when your hands are busy. Very organised and young at heart, not taking myself seriously whilst very dependable and trustworthy. I can just as well provide babysitting as tutoring, as have excellent academic proficiency.
I bring fun and creativity, I enjoy inspiring the best version out of kids to come to the surface, and genuinely want to help them do great personnally or academically. I love Art in all its expressions, am part of an oil-painting studio and keen on classical music (can help with these too). Am deeply empathetic and a great listener. It's one of the reasons why I volunteered with the Kids Network last year, to help under privileged kids expand their horizons and build their confidence.
My Experience
I've done babysitting since a young age as always enjoyed helping with kids from diverse backgrounds. No kids of my own, but very close to my friends' kids and own nephew and niece whom I yearly take on for several weeks, so used to managing kids single-handidly for a long stretch of time.
I've loved volunteering last year for the Kids Network to mentor children in need. It was a touching experience, helping a little girl take confidence and expand her horizon. DBS checks all cleared of course.
Professionnally, I've held a management position, have a strong academic background (LLB in Business law + MBA). I value performance and have coached my teams to grow and out-perform their objectives. I enjoy sharing knowledge and breaking it down in an easy way for others to digest, so much so that my managers have encouraged me to look into teaching in Universities, which I have done on occasion.
As I recently have extra time, expanding on childcaring feels a natural thing
