About Me
Hello, my name is Larisa and I have recently set up Sleeping Petals Babysitting. I specialise in caring for babies aged 0–12 months (but not limited to), offering parents peace of mind during those precious early months.
As a mother of four, I have extensive first-hand experience of the newborn stage, from sleepless nights and feeding routines to soothing, settling, and keeping little ones safe and comforted. My approach is calm, nurturing, and reliable, ensuring your baby feels secure while you take some much-needed time for yourself.
In my spare time, I am a singer & performer in & around East Sussex. Music is my therapy and I express this through song. I am also a children's entertainer & performer and you may see me dressed as Moana, Princess Jasmine & Snow White from time to time! The beach is one of mine & my children's favourite places. We love to be near water as we find it both calming & healing. I am also in the process of creating beautiful affirmation cards for children, adults & those who struggle with chronic illness.
I am of course, more than happy to look after children 12 months+ too, especially if they are sibling to a baby under 12 months.
My Experience
I bring both professional and personal experience to my babysitting work. As a former primary school teacher, I have a strong foundation in child development, patience, and creating safe, nurturing environments.
Alongside this, I am also a mother of four and an auntie to many nieces and nephews, which has given me hands-on, real-life experience with the newborn and infant stage many times over. I understand the challenges and joys of caring for babies in their first year — from feeding, winding, and nappy changes to establishing routines and providing comfort when they need it most.
Those closest to me would describe me as a calm, dependable, and reassuring person, with a natural ability to keep babies happy and settled while parents enjoy peace of mind.

Wed: 7:00am – late
Thurs: 7:00am – 2:00pm
Fri: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Alternative weekends: Fri 10:00am – Mon 2:00pm

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
Specialist Babysitting (0–12 months):
Weekday daytime: £13/hr
Evenings: £15/hr
Weekend daytime: £15/hr
Overnight / sleep-in: £70
