About Me
Hi I’m 18 years old. I’ve recently just finished college doing my first year of health and social care. However, I had done another previous year at a six form also studying health and social care. I adore working with young people, and being able to help them grow and learn whilst also creating a safe and comfortable environment for them to be themselves. I have a nephew of myself he’s coming up to two years old, I spend every opportunity I possibly have with him as it’s one of my most favourite things to do. I help his mum out by feeding him changing him putting him to sleep and playing with him. I’ve also worked with young kids In a church before where I had to keep them occupied and feed them whilst there parents would watch the service going on as it was a youth like group. I think I’ve gained a lot of knowledge from my nephew but it’s also made me realise how much I love working with kids.
My Experience
As I briefly described, I have worked in a church as part of a youth group for young kids and babies. I had to keep them occupied read to them play with them and give them snacks and drinks when they needed Before handing them back to their parents. I also look after my nephew a lot as he is around my house most of the time. I feel I take on a mum responsibility when he’s around as I’m constantly making sure he’s fed changing him when he needs making sure he has his nap of the day and keeping him occupied and happy.
My Qualifications
I almost have my DBS check, however I had one form of ID that hadn’t been sent off for me to fully be able to get this. I’ve had first aid training before as I’ve done Duke of Edinburgh in the past and I had to have first aid training professionally done. I’ve got my GCSEs and also now a qualification in my health and social care course.
My Availability
I’m available to work both weekdays and weekends and early hours or even late hours if needed, I can be quite flexible to your timetable.
