My Summary

My Experience

I volunteered at a primary school once a week for a year, where I supported both the teacher and students in the classroom. During this time, I developed strong communication and leadership skills, as well as patience and empathy—qualities that are essential when working with children. I led guided reading sessions to help improve children’s reading abilities and supported younger students through mentoring, helping to guide them in the right direction and provide the encouragement they needed. I also spent time volunteering at a different school that specialises in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), which gave me valuable insight into different learning needs and how to adapt my approach to suit each child. In addition, I regularly babysit for families in my village and for family friends, which has further strengthened my ability to care for children of different ages in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. These combined experiences have deepened my passion for working with children and prepared me well for a future career in primary education.

I have 3 A levels:sociology, history and English literature and language. I also have 8 GCSE
