My Requirements

I’m looking for a caring and reliable nanny to support me with my adorable son, Otis, who is just 13 weeks old. The schedule is as follows:

Mondays: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Tuesdays: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
-Fridays: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Your help will be essential in allowing me to balance my responsibilities as a single mum while ensuring that Otis is well cared for. I’m combination feeding, so I’ll manage that but will need assistance with washing and sterilising bottles. I’m seeking someone with fantastic initiative who can identify what needs to be done and take the lead. Your responsibilities will include:

- Caring for Otis so I can run errands, shower, eat, attend appointments, or manage admin tasks. Once comfortable, I may occasionally need to step out for a couple of hours and leave Otis with you to enjoy a proper break/ reset!

- Engaging Otis by talking and interacting with him, singing to him and reading
him stories. Playing with sensory toys and setting up activity gym with different toys. Taking him for walks while I catch up on sleep. Show him love, warmth, kindness.

- Helping prepare some of his food when he starts weaning.

- Assisting with organising Otis’s clothes and change bag, unpacking belongings after stays away, and washing, hanging out, or putting away his clothes as needed.

- Helping with light housework, such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, wiping surfaces, cleaning toys, and maintaining a tidy environment.

- Preparing bottles and resetting Otis’s room and lounge to ensure everything is organised and ready for him.

- Assisting with dinner prep to make our evenings smoother, including popping to the supermarket if needed and unloading shopping.

- Supporting me before our baby sensory class on Mondays (I leave at 11:00 AM), which includes loading things into the car and helping to get Otis settled. This will enable me to shower, eat breakfast, get dressed, and maybe even take a quick nap if I haven’t slept well the night before. Afterward, you can stay at mine to prep, reset, and sort things out for the evening.

I want to emphasise that I am hands-on and involved with Otis. I’m looking for a tag-team approach where we work together to care for him, rather than simply handing him over. There will be opportunities to handle household tasks and admin when Otis isn’t at home, allowing us to share responsibilities effectively. If I go out for the whole afternoon, you can leave early or come later; I’ll keep you updated, but the pay will remain consistent! ?
