About Me
Hey, My name is Amina and I’m 19 years old with a strong passion for working with children. I’m fully DBS checked and have hands-on experience caring for children aged 0–12 in both a primary school setting, through volunteering at my local church and a gymnastics academy and working in a nursery currently.
During my time in the primary schools, I supported pupils with activities, learning tasks, and playtime—helping to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment. At church, I worked with a wide age range, from babies to pre-teens, assisting with games, crafts, and group sessions.
In my current role, working in a nursery as an educator helping children learn through play and supporting families.
I also have experience as a night nanny caring for 2 children aged 2 and 3 consisting of cooking dinner and helping children with mealtimes, bathing, reading bedtime stories, aiding to sleep, sleep checks, morning bathing and breakfast , taking children to nursery.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors—all of which I love incorporating into the way I interact with children. My approach to childcare is warm, calm, and engaging. I believe in creating a space where children feel heard, safe, and encouraged to be themselves.

My Experience
I have always had a passion for working with children, starting with babysitting my younger siblings and cousins. For two years, I volunteered at a Sunday school, helping children learn about the Bible in a fun and supportive environment. I then completed an apprenticeship within primary schools, where I taught children sports and supported their physical development. During my time working within schools, my role also included working at After School Club Wraparound care. This included feeding children. Within this role, I was appointed the SEND Lead. I also was a nanny for a family, where my responsibilities include night shifts, putting the children to bed, changing nappies, managing morning routines.
This role includes preparing healthy and safe meals, encouraging self feeding, bathing, putting to bed, nighttime stories, helping with potty training and Taking to school in the morning.

My Availability
I am currently working full time in a nursery setting so I am mostly available weekdays after 6pm and weekends.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
From £15 per hour for babysitting and childcare. Rates may vary depending on hours, number of children, location, and duties required. Overnight care available—please contact me for a tailored quote.
