My Summary

My Experience

I have many years of experience caring for children within my own family. I looked after my younger brother regularly while my parents were at work, and I also babysat my younger cousins. These responsibilities included playtime, reading, homework support, and bedtime routines. Through these experiences, I developed patience, responsibility, and the ability to create a safe and happy environment for children.

I also gained experience caring for a newborn cousin, helping my aunt with tasks such as bottle-feeding, nappy changes, soothing, and supporting nap times. As the baby grew into a toddler, I enjoyed engaging in activities like building blocks, drawing, singing songs, and outdoor play. These experiences taught me how to adapt to the needs of different age groups, from newborns to school-aged children.

Since moving to the UK, I have continued to develop my skills and am currently babysitting a 4-year-old boy in Bristol. I love supporting local families by providing reliable childcare and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children.

My Qualifications

• Current law student in Bristol (organised, responsible, and reliable)
• Fluent in English and Burmese, and can also speak a little Chinese
•Confident caring for children aged 2–7 years, with experience looking after children of different ages (including toddlers and a newborn cousin)
• Happy to prepare light meals and snacks (sandwiches or reheating food provided by parents). I’m still learning cooking beyond family meals, but I’m eager to improve and always willing to follow parents’ instructions.
• Willing to obtain a DBS check to provide extra reassurance for parents.
