Welcome to stepping Stones Childcare a home based setting where children get to feel safe and valued and where we go on lots of adventures outdoors to local parks, farms and forests, local groups and community based experiences such as library story times. I believe in play based learning and lean into children’s interests as much as possible.
About me;
Hello my name is Carol I live with my husband Toby and our daughter Violet (9) I have 2 grown up children and a stepson whom visits us at weekends.
My Experience
I have over 25 years experience of working in early years. In my time I have worked as a child health advisor, a preschool keyworker and a preschool senco and have more recently returned to childminding (April 2024) to be more present for my own child as she navigates primary school.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in childcare learning and development
A certificate in home based childcare
I am a qualified senco
Have paediatric first aid training
I have safeguarding training
