My Experience

I have extensive experience supporting children’s learning through both structured tutoring and classroom assistance. I've spent the last year supporting two children with additional needs and they have inspired me everyday to continue working in childcare. As a volunteer teaching assistant in a COVID-19 catch-up programme, I worked with primary school children to strengthen their English and Maths skills, helping them build confidence and enjoy learning. Alongside this, I’ve tutored older students up to GCSE level in subjects including Biology, English Literature, and basic Spanish. I tailor my approach to each child’s needs, making learning accessible, engaging, and enjoyable. My background in zoology and communication has helped me explain complex ideas clearly and creatively. I’m patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping children reach their potential. Whether supporting homework, revision, or foundational skills, I aim to foster a positive learning environment that builds curiosity and self-belief. I’m flexible, reliable, and committed to making a meaningful difference in each child’s educational journey.

My Qualifications

BSc in Zoology with an international year of study. A Levels - BBC (Biology, English lit, Psychology). 10 GCSE's English baccalaureate.
