Looking for full time nanny in Totterdown
About Me
We are looking for a full time, Monday to Friday nanny to care for our twins while we work from home, as our current nanny is leaving us to start her own business. The hours are 8:30am-5:30pm and we are offering a salary of £32k-£38k per annum gross, dependent on experience and/or qualifications.
We live in Totterdown with excellent public transport links, or we can provide a parking space. There are several libraries, a playgroup and playgrounds nearby for getting out and about, and even a play cafe!
The twins are turning two years old, and are affectionate, bright, and energetic children. They love reading and going to the playground. They are both a little shy so attending social sessions like the local play groups and bounce and rhyme is particularly important for them.
My daughter is a cheeky, fun loving little girl. She adores singing, kicking her football and climbing. She is learning about boundaries but has a tendency to giggle and run away when told no: we are working on it!
My son is a more serious character and tends to worry easily. He loves cuddles and adores his sister, occasionally to her irritation. He is much more concerned about boundaries and often needs a big cuddle if he crosses a boundary accidentally. However, he finds many things hilarious, particularly his sister, and his laugh is magical.
My Requirements
Our ideal nanny would foster their development through play at home, take them to group activities to build their social skills and encourage them to play outside. The nanny also needs to prepare lunch, dinner and snacks for the twins so basic cooking skills are useful. Experience with this age group, or equivalent qualifications is a must.
Our hard rules are no sweets and no screen time. We try to minimise processed food but some is fine.
We're looking for someone to start at the beginning of July but do have some flexibility.
