About Me
I’m 22 years old and currently on a gap year after finishing university, before starting an MSc in Nursing at King’s College London. I’ve spent this year working with children in schools, before travelling for 4 months. During my travels, I volunteered in a school in Cambodia where I supported children and helped teach them English. I’m caring and kind-hearted, and enjoy creating a safe, supportive and fun environment for children. Sport is a big part of my life — I was a high-performance athlete at university playing hockey, and I love spending time outdoors. I also enjoy cooking and baking, as well as spending time with my family and friends. I’ve always loved working with children and find it incredibly rewarding.
My Experience
I have worked as a 1-1 teaching assistant in a primary school with an 8 year old boy with Autism. In the holidays I works at holiday clubs with children from 5-12, doing sports, games, arts and crafts etc. As I am a keen hockey player I have also coached children of all ages hockey since I was around 17 years old. I have a big family and have always loved looking after my younger cousins and helping out as much as I can.
My Qualifications
A levels - Biology, Chemistry, PE
BSc Sports and Exercise Science - University of Nottingham
Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (VTQ)
I have also been DBS checked
My Availability
I am unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 onwards. I am also unavailable on Saturdays.
