Hi, I'm Kez! I'm 21 and recently moved back to West Sussex after finishing my degree. I'm a naturally relaxed and fun person, and I genuinely love spending time with kids. My criminology studies gave me a deep understanding of what children need to thrive - especially the importance of having great role models.
Currently, I'm working part-time at a wine bar to save up, which gives me plenty of free time to be active and spontaneous. When I'm not there, you'll find me reading, swimming or playing badminton. I'm also really into fashion, music, and painting.
My Experience
My passion for childcare began at a young age, as my family has been fostering children since I was 13. Growing up in this environment gave me a deep, personal understanding of what kids need to feel safe and supported. I learned the value of therapeutic play, how to meet a wide variety of individual needs, and the importance of a caring, stable presence in a child's life. This personal background has significantly shaped my approach to childcare and complements my professional experience.
For the past three years, I have worked with children across various age groups, from toddlers to teenagers, in both after-school and holiday club settings. In my last role as a Deputy Manager of an after-school club, I led and planned engaging activities, managed my team, and served as the designated safeguarding lead. My previous experience also includes being a Playworker at both Clifton College and Brighton College Pre-Prep School, where I was responsible for the safety, welfare, and day-to-day activities of the children. I am also a qualified First Aider.
