Live-In Housekeeper / House Manager

Location: Beautiful countryside village near Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Salary: depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with flexibility for the right person)

We are a warm, welcoming family looking for an experienced Live-In Housekeeper / House Manager to become an important and valued part of our family for many years to come.

This is a long-term role for someone who takes genuine pride in creating a beautifully organised home, enjoys cooking wholesome family meals and wants to build a trusted relationship with one family.

Our home is in a picturesque village just outside the historic city of Lincoln. We have two lovely boys aged 5 and 7. While your primary responsibility will be managing our home, we would appreciate someone who enjoys being around children and is happy to lend a helping hand when needed. Childcare is not the main focus of this role.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our home beautifully clean, organised and well presented.
• Family laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation.
• Preparing healthy, home-cooked family meals.
• Grocery shopping and household supplies.
• Running errands when required.
• Managing deliveries and liaising with tradespeople.
• Helping organise household routines and appointments.
• Occasional support with the children if needed.
• Working alongside Mum and Dad to ensure the home runs smoothly.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in a private family home.
• Loves creating a warm, organised and welcoming home.
• Enjoys cooking nutritious family meals.
• Is trustworthy, discreet and takes pride in their work.
• Is proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
• Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Is kind, calm and enjoys being part of family life.
• Holds a full driving licence (preferred).
• Is looking for a long-term position with one family.

Live-In Accommodation

If you choose the live-in option, you will have your own private accommodation, including:

• Private bedroom.
• Private bathroom.
• Fully equipped private kitchen.
• Private outdoor patio/garden space.
• Use of a car if required.

We want whoever joins our family to feel completely at home while enjoying their own privacy outside working hours.
