About Me
I’m Abbi, an Ofsted-registered childminder offering a warm, home-from-home setting where children feel safe, happy, and supported. Biscuits Childcare provides a calm, nurturing environment with plenty of opportunities for play, learning, and exploration, following the EYFS framework.
We enjoy a mix of indoor activities and daily outdoor adventures, including local walks and fresh-air play in my 4-seater wagon. I plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support each child’s development while encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence.
I work closely with families and keep parents updated with regular communication and photos, ensuring every child feels secure and valued.

My Experience
I am a fully qualified childcare professional with a strong background in both early years and healthcare. I hold up-to-date safeguarding training, paediatric first aid, and childcare qualifications at Level 3 and Level 4 nad Food Hygeine level 3.
My experience spans a wide range of needs and age groups, including working with children with autism and supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Before starting Biscuits Childcare, I spent three years working in the Accident and Emergency department as an Emergency Healthcare Assistant, giving me extensive training in safety, medical awareness, and responding calmly and effectively under pressure.
Alongside my professional experience, I am also a mum of three children aged 13, 5, and 1. Being a parent has strengthened my understanding of children’s development, emotional needs, and the importance of creating a supportive, nurturing environment where they can thrive.
I am passionate about childcare and dedicated to providing safe, loving, and high-quality care for every child in my setting.

My Availability
Biscuits Childcare is open Mondays and Tuesdays, offering full-day spaces for early years children. The children who attend on these days are mainly around 1 year old, creating a calm, nurturing environment with activities tailored to their age and stage of development.
I also offer before and after school care, including school drop-offs and pick-ups for St. James’ School in Alderholt. This provides flexible support for families needing wraparound care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I accept all funding and child care vouchers.
unsociable hours are charged at £10 per hour ( before 8am and after 18:00)
between 8am and 18:00 my fee is £8.00 per hour.
Meals charged seperately.
